Project: SEO Plan
It’s one thing to build a killer website, an entirely other thing to “get found” in a sea of killer websites. With this project we were to explore ways to maximize search engine tools and draw traffic to our online activity. This it a lot harder than it looks!
SEO stands for “search engine optimization.” It is the process of getting traffic from the “free,” “organic,” “editorial” or “natural” search results on search engines.
And therein lies the conundrum: the whole process is organic, thus dynamic, and doesn’t seem to follow any one set of rules. In actuality, there are many variables which determine a person lands on one site over another, and a whole lot of websites with advice on how to do so. What I discovered in my research is that the best we can do is maximize the chance of that happening.
